Holiday
Potluck Party Wednesday, December
15th was truly a Winter Wonderland at Gilda’s Club, (no snow yet, though), as
members, volunteers and staff gathered to share a delicious Holiday Pot Luck
dinner and the warmth of each others’ company. Our
halls were decked, the red tree glistened and the angels did sing as we were
entertained by the very talented A Capella Choir from Charter Tech High
School in Somers Point. The music continued with Barry Keefe leading a
sing-a-long and we didn’t have to listen too closely to hear the jolly ho,
ho, ho’s from all those around. The spirit of the evening was lifted
higher and higher as volunteer Susan Slaughter gently tickled the ivories all
through the evening. A hearty thank you to all these gifted volunteers
and let’s not forget Ding – we could not have done this without you,
Ding. And, was the kitchen magically cleaned? Oh, there go those
wonderful Gilda’s Club Angels, aka volunteers, who always make the kitchen
sparkle – thank you! I think we can agree a
good time was had by all – a jolly, joyful, spirited evening. Peace on
Earth, Good Will to All. Photos from
