Our Children Making Change

Our Children Making Change is a wonderful local organization that provides a way for children of all ages to contribute to charities in their communities through raising money by performing age appropriate chores. It is an opportunity for children who are too young to volunteer to become active participants in their community.

This year, Gilda's Club South Jersey was fortunate to be one of the local charities that the children chose to support.  They did an outstanding job raising $3,680 for each of the six beneficiary charities they chose this year!  Amazing!

To all the kids involved in this inspirational organization, we thank you so much for appreciating Gilda's Club and our Noogieland program for children.   Noogieland is a place for all children who are touched by cancer in any way.  We talk about what it's like to have a cancer diagnosis in the family, we do activities like yoga, art projects and we even do drumming and acting!  The money that you raised for us will support these types of activities for our Noogies.

It is so beautiful to see children helping children.  You are a terrific group of kids and we are so appreciative.

Special Thanks to HughE Dillion and Fleming's Steak House in Marlton for having a wonderful fundraiser to benefit Gilda's Club South Jersey.  The event was held in honor of Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and in memory of HughE's sister, Judy Wilkins, who was one of our members.  HughE's mom is pictured above with Miss Philadelphia, Andrea Helfrich.  Click here to read more about the event from HughE.
